David Edgerley, the recently departed economic development chief for Maryland, was named Monday an executive vice president at Gaithersburg’s HarVest Bank of Maryland.
Edgerley’s last day as secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) was Jan. 30.
Edgerley had said in December he was leaving DBED to pursue opportunities in the private sector and to work closer to home. He is a Montgomery County resident.
Prior to joining DBED, Edgerley led economic development offices in Allegany and Montgomery counties.
